Entry Requirements

1. At least S.S.S. Certificate or G.C.E. ‘O’ Level with credit passes in five (5) subjects, including English Language and Mathematics (Though, mathematics can be waived for some courses) obtained at not more than two sittings; or
2. Pass in appropriate Foundation / Certificate programme; or
3. Mature Entry Route (MER) Minimum age of 30 plus work experience (2 years min) will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
4. Achieved a grade C6 or better in English language O level; or
5.  All international students for whom English is not their first language must provide evidence of their linguistic ability by gaining a minimum level of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent, prior to receiving an offer for the course.

Entry Requirements

For entry into Year 1 (Certificate and Diploma):

1. Secondary School Leaving Certificate with a good mark OR; 5 GCSEs and 2 AS/A2s OR BAC Requisite Qualification OR; the equivalent in your country of education OR; Foundation Certificate from internationally recognised professional body AND
2. proof of good use of English (IELTS/TOEFL/GCSE or equivalent

For entry into Year 2 (Advanced Diploma):

1. CPTEC Diploma
2. OND/BTEC;
3. Certificate from internationally recognised professional body;
4. Transfer credits from an internationally accredited university in a relevant field, subject to approval

For entry into Year 3 (BSc.):

1. Advanced Diploma from CPTEC; OR
2. HND/BTEC; OR transfer credits from an internationally accredited university in a relevant field, subject to approval; OR
3. Membership of internationally recognized professional body. Subject to approval of the Senate and Board

For entry into Year 4 (BSc.) HND - BSc Conversion Programme:

1. Advanced Diploma from CPTEC; OR
2. HND/BTEC; OR transfer credits from an internationally accredited university in a relevant field, subject to approval; OR
3. Membership of internationally recognized professional body. Subject to approval of the Senate and Board

GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS.

1. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Third-Class Division in Economics, Finance, Banking & Finance, Economics, Accounting, Insurance or any other acceptable degree from CPTEC (University), or any other recognized Institutions.
2. Holders of other first degrees than in Management Science or HND (Lower Credit) in any discipline are eligible to apply provided the basic entry requirements are met.
3. Holders of Any Professional Certification/ Qualification from recognised professional bodies recognised by CPTEC.
4. The admission requirements into the undergraduate programmes of the Department also apply.
5. A flexible Diploma route to MBA and MSc programmes
6. An essential and recognised qualification in business

CPTEC GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

1. Academic Background:

To be considered for graduate admissions students must have:

1. CPTEC Bachelor Degree or and a PGD or
2. Bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by a regional accrediting association. If the degree is from a recognized but not regionally accredited institution, the application will be reviewed by the Admission Office and Senate.

2. GPA Requirements:

Applicants must have a minimum overall Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.00 on a 4.00 grade scale equivalent to U.S. bachelor’s degree. If your GPA meets the minimum admission requirements, the School MBA Advisors will determine if your overall academic record and test scores meet department requirements.

Note: If you do not meet the minimum 3.00 GPA, your application can be considered for admission if you:

1. Have an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher for your last 60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits, or
2. Have worked in the program specific profession for 5+ years

3. Work Experience:

A minimum of two to three years of International work experience, depending on your responsibilities. So, the following will be required;

1. Resume and a Personal Statement
2. Two letters of professional recommendation
3. Proof of English proficiency or French Proficiency for French Masters (knowledge of a second language is a plus)
